Get Connected

Get Connected

East Hills has a lot to offer, but you may be wondering how you can get involved and be connected here? We'd love to help you get connected. Above all else, we believe that if you simply do the "Final 4" it will help you connect and grow in your faith.

1. Come - Plug in on the weekend.

East Hills and The Grove gather every weekend to worship God, celebrate what is happening among us, and align our lives around God’s mission as revealed to us in the Bible. We seek to use music that is modern and has a broad appeal. We value preaching that is relevant and applicable to everyday life. We also have great programs for kids at every service.

We invite you to come right in and make yourself at home. Anyone is welcome to attend, whether you are a seasoned vet of churches or simply checking out the claims of Christianity for the very first time. Click here for a FAQ about what you can expect when you visit on a weekend.

Services begin at 6:30 pm Saturday, and 10:30 am on Sunday. If you ever miss a weekend you can always catch the sermon podcast!

2. Grow - Be part of a group.

One of our core values is connecting with others by living in authentic community. It is in this sort of community that we do life together, learn and apply God's word together, encourage one another, and serve together.

We have many different groups. Click any of the listed items to find more info. To get plugged in to a group or if you'd like to have a conversation about what group would be best for you, click "get connected" below!

3. Serve - Use your gifts.

Volunteering allows us to get off the sidelines and into the game. The commitment brings with it great satisfaction in knowing we have found a practical and relevant way to live out our faith.

In some cases, getting involved as a volunteer is simple as signing up; other positions require training; some also include a background check. Some opportunities are for several weekends while others are one-time events. All come with the appreciation and support of our East Hills staff.

Building and Grounds: Mow a lawn, fix a leaky faucet or paint a room for an elderly couple. Jobs vary and range in time from just an hour to all day projects.

Kidville: Teach a class, assist in a room, hold babies, or help out a special event. Time commitment ranges from weekly to once a quarter depending on your schedule

Social Fellowship: Help prepare a meal, arrange a room, or set out the coffee for an event, seminar or special service. Time commitment varies- do as much or as little as you have time for.

Welcome Team: Greet people as they arrive, help direct traffic and hand out worship folders. Once a month time commitment.

Worship Team: From audio and visual technology to musicians and singers, help to lead East Hills and The Grove church bodies in worship of God each week.

No matter your skills, you can make a difference in the lives of others. Fill out a  “SALT” (Stewardship Assets List of Talents) form today so we know where you are interested in getting involved.

To get started with any of these valuable ministries, or if you'd like to have a conversation with a ministry team leader, send an email to our office.

We would also love to help you find out how you are wired to serve and where to plug in, attend an upcoming “Discovering Your DNA” class. Contact Pastor Jon: jon@thegrovealliance.org for info on the next class.

4. Go - Shine wherever you are.

Embrace that you are an ambassador for Christ wherever you go - at home, in your neighborhood and at work. Look for opportunities to invite people to church. Get creative, involving your small group in doing outreach. Be light in your workplace.

You can also look for ways to get involved in our local and global partnerships though the listed links.
